A gathering of the family for visitation will be held at the Govier Brother's Mortuary in Broken Bow, Nebraska on March 9, 2005. Graveside services will be at the Merna, Nebraska Cemetery. A memorial celebration of Sibyl's life is being planned for a later date.

Sibyl Marie Yeck passed from this earthly life on March 6, 2005. She had moved to the Manning area after living in Merna, Nebraska since 1927. The past several years she resided at the Manning Plaza.

She leaves to mourn her absence and rejoice in her memories, her daughters Barbara L Simon of Hanford, California and Velaine M. Curlile of Manning, Iowa, her son, M.E. Yeck of Washington DC, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
