Gone To Her Final Reward.
The best of medical aid and care could not save Mrs. Adolph Schelldorf.
Last Sunday evening she followed the beckoning Angel of Death.
None but those, who have sat in the shadow of great bereavement can justly weigh such a great sorrow as this. Those who have gone into the midst of suffering, who have watched the petals fall from a fading flower, know that such anguish cannot find solace in the tenderest words. She has gone forth on a lonely path, unsupported by any earthly friend. The love for her husband and the strong motherly ties to her dear little ones could not detain her. The loving ties are broken; the lads has returned to the earth as it was and the spirit, we hope, has returned to the God who gave it.
She is no more; but she will long be remembered by her husband, children, parents and all who were her close friends. She was a good, true wife, and a kind and loving mother.
The deceased was born May 19, 1881, and was united in marriage to Adolph Schelldorf about ten years ago.
She was sick but a few weeks and last Sunday evening at about ten o'clock she departed hence.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and 4 children, her parents, brothers and sisters, and many relatives.
The remains were laid to rest in the Hays twp. cemetery Thursday, Rev. Fauth officiating.
We extend our deepest sympathy to the bereaved ones in this hour of great sorrow.
