Mrs. Peters died at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines Monday. She was injured in an automobile accident on January 31, 1954, and had been paralyzed from the waist down since that time. She had spent the past three years in Des Moines. At the time of her accident, she was administrator of Manning General Hospital.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mae Kenyon, Manning; and
a brother, Clyde Kenyon, Des Moines.

Mrs. Ruth O. Peters
Funeral rites for Mrs. Ruth O. Peters, 54, were held at the Ohde Funeral Home
at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, with burial in the Manning Cemetery.
The Rev. Carl Sinning of the First Presbyterian Church officiated. Clifford M. Johnson was soloist and Bonita (Mrs. H.W.) Hagedorn, organist.
George Dethlefs, Peter F. Hansen, Orval Fink, Ray Sander, Alfred Rix, and Labert Stahl, Jr., acted as pallbearers.
A daughter of Charles Clinton and Anna Mae (Flick) Kenyon, she was born August 20, 1906, at Manning, and graduated from Manning High School in 1923. She taught school for six years, then was office manager for Priebe and Company at Manning, and later Administrator of Manning General Hospital.
Mrs. Peters was injured in an auto accident January 31, 1954, and had been paralyzed from the waist down since that time. The last three years she spent in Des Moines, where she died at Mercy Hospital early Monday morning, May 8, 1961.
She was a member of the Manning Presbyterian Church and the Manning Chapter of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Peters, in 1949, and her father.
She is survived by her mother and a brother, Clyde Kenyon, Des Moines.
