Russell Paul Witt, 30, 408, Joy Circle, Gilbert, Iowa, died Friday in Salem, South Dakota.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from Stevens Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tom Shaffer of Gilbert Congregational Church officiating. Burial will be in Gilbert Cemetery.

Born March 12, 1943, at Carroll, to Raymond and Elizabeth (Schluter) Witt, he was a carpenter by trade. He had worked for H&F Builders, Jim Christensen and Frank Gammon for several years and for the past year had operated his own business.

Survivors include his wife, Jan; a daughter, Kimberly; his father, Raymond Witt and a brother, Larry, both of Manning; and two sisters, Mrs. Charlene Stokey, and Mrs. Ardith Mann, both of Omaha, Nebraska.

A memorial fund has been established. Gifts may be sent to the home.
