Last Rites Friday For Roy J. Resner
Funeral services for Roy Johannes Resner will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Methodist Church in Ronan, Montana.

The pallbearers will be James Ozmun, Neils Neilson, Dave Morris, Walt Dietrick, Leonard Adamson, and Joe Adamson.

Mr. Resner passed away Tuesday morning, June 10, 1941, at a Polson Hospital after a becoming suddenly ill Saturday evening.

Mr. Resner was born at Iowa City, Iowa, on November 20, 1892. He came to the Flathead Valley in 1910, from Manning, Iowa, with his parents, the late Dr. Andrew and Mrs. Lydia (Schaerer) Resner, Pioneers of the Valley. While at Manning, he attended Manning Schools with his three brothers. The family came to Manning in 1895, where Andrew was a physician, and also served on the school board from 1899 through 1901; Lydia also being active in various community organizations.

Roy followed the occupation of farming, making his home with his twin brother Carl, and family. He was also a painter by trade.

The deceased is survived by three brothers, Herbert of Seattle, Washington; Carl and Harold of Ronan.

Burial was in Ronan Cemetery, Ronan, Montana.
