Roy Mork, 71, born November 1, 1901, in Irwin, Iowa, died in Texas Wednesday, December 20, 1972.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Irwin, with burial in the Manning Cemetery. The Rev. Marvin L. Hagen will officiate.

Arrangements are in charge of the Ohde Funeral Home, Manning, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Friday.

Roy was married to Alvera Dethlefs in 1928 and had three children: Marland, Larry, and Dwanna.

Alvera was the daughter of August and Sophia (Ahrens) Dethlefs, along with siblings Henry, Albert, and Lillian Mohr.
