Mrs. Peter Roggendorf died at her home at Aspinwall Monday evening after quite a long illness with that dread disease cancer of the stomach.

She was a good, kind wife and a loving mother. She was preceded to the grave by her first husband, Henry Ohde, Sr., over 17 years ago. She leaves her husband, five children by her first husband and two by Mr. Roggendorf to mourn her loss.

She was born in Germany over 52 years ago and came to Crawford County over 30 years ago, where she has since resided The funeral was held from the home yesterday morning, Rev. Wendt, German Lutheran minister, officiating, after which the remains were interred in the Five-mile House Cemetery (Hayes Township Cemetery), followed by a long concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends. The bereaved have the sympathy of this community in their sorrow.
