The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo and Ola Ress, Ramona Ida, died at the family home on Wednesday, November 14, 1928. Her illness was of very short duration, not over a few days. Intestinal trouble seemed to be the cause of her death.
Little Ramona was born July 21, 1928, and after the short duration of life of 3 months and 24 days she left the home in which she was received but a short time ago as a welcome messenger of love and affection, leaving in deep sorrow her bereaved parents and other relatives, who with love and tender care were devoted to the little flower of life, to keep it a blooming, but of no avail. The pure and innocent little soul began the journey toward the realms of everlasting happiness in the life beyond.
Friday afternoon, November 16, at two o'clock the Rev. John M. Ansorge conducted the funeral services, which were held from the Lutheran Church, after which the earthly remains were tenderly bedded in the Manning Cemetery.
