Funeral services were held at the Huebner Funeral Home at Denison on Sunday, February 8.
Burial was at Dow City Cemetery.

Ralph A. Weems, son of Charles and Rosa (Millett) Weems, was born near Irwin, Iowa, on June 20, 1905, and died February 6, 1953, at the age of 47 years, 8 months, and 14 days. He had been ill only a short time. He was married to Clara Krueger and to this union, two children were born, Larry and Darlene.

Survivors include his wife and children, Mrs. Chris Brink Jr, and Larry at home; and a grandson, Donavon Brink; his aged mother; and five brothers, Earl of Manning, Burl, Homer, and Eldon of Botna, and Newton of Iola, Kansas.
