Ralph E. Mooney, 72 of 1530 31st St, Rock Island, Illinois, was pronounced dead on arrival yesterday afternoon, December 20, 1967, at Moline Public Hospital after an apparent heart attack.

Services will be at 10:90 Saturday morning in the Hodgson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dan Gold Lang of Broadway Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, Illinois.

Mr. Mooney was born in Osco, Illinois, October 18, 1895, and had resided in Rock Island for the past 42 years.

He was employed for many years at the Valley Parking Company, Coal Valley, Illinois, retiring four years ago.

He married Hazel Derner May 21, 1923 in Chicago.

Surviving are the widow; a son, Robert L. Mooney, Peoria; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Carpenter, Bettendorf; a brother, George, Davenport, Iowa; and four grandchildren.
