November 18, 1888Military rites for Peter Puck were held Monday
Son of William and Margaretha Joens Puck, he was born Nov 18, 1888 in Ewoldt Township, He worked on various farms in the Manning community, and served in World War I. In 1924, he land his brother, William started farming in Audubon county. He retired ten years ago and moved into Manning where he lived with his mother. She passed away three years ago. Since that time he made his home with his sister, Ella.
He became ill suddenly one Friday and was taken to St. Anthony hospital in Carroll, where he died Saturday morning.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister.
He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Ella, at home; George, Manning; Mrs. Henry (Alvina) Ewoldt, Manning; Albert A, Denison; William, Manning; Mrs. Henry (Minnie Clausen, Manning; Mrs. Ralph (Frieda) Berkheimer, Manning; Maggie, Manning; Adolph, Manilla; Harry and Edward, Manning.
