MRS. GLENN T. PLUNKETT
Mrs. Glenn T. Plunkett, 69, of Corvallis, Oregon, a former Manning resident, died in a Corvallis hospital January 20, 1973.

Funeral services were held January 23 in the chapel of the Good Samaritan Episcopal Church, of which she was a member. Private family committal rites were held at the Oaklawn Mausoleum in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Corvallis, Oregon.

Mrs. Plunkett was the former Pearl Rocksien, daughter of Charles and Ida (Parker) Rocksien. She was born February 10, 1903, at Manning and received her schooling here, graduating in 1920. She taught school in Iowa and in 1921, moved to Philomath, Oregon, where she taught prior to her marriage to Mr. Plunkett on October 7, 1922.

The couple lived at Redlands, California, for ten years and then returned to Philomath. They moved to their present home in Corvallis in 1960.

Mrs. Plunkett is survived by her husband; a son, Dale, of Portland, Oregon; a daughter, Mrs. W.A. Dunn, of Corvallis; and a granddaughter.

A brother, Lee Charles Rocksien, died of a heart attack December 4, 1944...the next day he was to fly out for Burma while serving in the Army during WWII.
