Funeral rites for Mrs. John Mundt
Mrs. John J. Mundt, 69, died at her home in Manning Sunday afternoon, February 1959. Funeral services were held at 2:00 Wednesday at the Ohde Funeral home. Pallbearers were Antone Mergele, Frank Wegner, Chas. H. Loftus, Henry Arp, Willis Puck and Henry Lohmeier. Mrs. Mundt had been ill for five years.

Paulina Lage, daughter of Hans and Marie Lage, was born Feb 26, 1887 in Crawford County. She lived at home until Feb 24, 1909, when she married Mr. Mundt at Manning. The couple farmed near Manning until 1914, when they moved to town.
She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Edna) Goundie of Childreth, Texas, and a son Henry H. Mundt, at home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three sisters and a son, LeRoy, who died in 1939.
