Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, March 4, 1932, at the Lutheran Church for Mrs. Herman Sinow. Reverend Ansorge had charge of the services.
The deceased had been in poor health for several months and during the past few weeks her condition became critical. She was removed to the Wyatt Memorial hospital where the angel of death relieved here from suffering, Tuesday afternoon, March 1.
Oval Aurelia Wegner was born July 4, 1873, in Clinton County, Iowa. In the year 1875 the family came to Crawford County and settled on a farm. The deceased was united in marriage to Herman Sinow in 1893.
The home was saddened in 1928 when Mr. Sinow passed away. Since that time Mrs. Sinow had been acting as house keeper for Mr. Fred Hagedorn on Third Street.
In January she became ill and it was necessary that she be taken to the hospital. However, all that medical aid and loving hands could do, proved futile, and she never recovered.
She leaves four brothers; William Wegner, Aspinwall; George Wegner, Aspinwall; Frank Wegner, Surridge, Montana; Emil Wegner of Aspinwall. Five sisters also survive. They are: Mrs. Anna Ehlers, Manning; Mrs. Emma Sander of Manning; Mrs. Gusta Ehlers, Sydney, Nebraska; Mrs. Maggie Kuhl, Sydney, Nebraska, and Mrs. Ella Ehlers of Manning.
Following the funeral services, interment was made in the Manning Cemetery.
