Otto Tesch

Otto C. Tesch, 84, of 503 Ann St., Manning, Iowa, past treasurer and supervisor of the Town of Oak Grove, died Thursday, August 8, 1974, at General Hospital, Manning.

He was born in the town of Oak Grove, Dodge County, Wisconsin, on August 12, 1889, a son of Mr. and Mrs. August Carl and Auguste Caroline (Rindfleisch) Tesch.

He married Minnie Koska on September 27, 1911, and she died April 26, 1961. On May 7, 1963, he married Mrs. Christine Ranniger.

Mr. Tesch lived in Dodge County until moving to Manning, Iowa, 11 years ago.

Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Schoppe and Mrs. Elda Krause both of Juneau, Wisconsin; two sons, Walter of Watertown, Wisconsin; and Clarence of Juneau; four step-children, Wilmer and Wayne Ranniger and Mrs. Irene Jansen all of Manning, Iowa, and Mrs. Eunice Friedrichsen of Denison, Iowa.

Also surviving are 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Emil of West Bend, Wisconsin; Herman of Wausau, Wisconsin; and a sister, Mrs. Anna Frankenstein of Juneau.

A son, Melvin, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Berndt Funeral Home, Juneau, with the Rev. A.T. Degner officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Visitation for Mr. Tesch will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
