He came to America with his parents when about 12 years old. They settled in Clinton County, later moving to Johnson County and later to Crawford County.
For the past 26 years he has made home with his brother, John. There remains to mourn his death, four brothers, Peter of Ute, John D., Chris D., and George, all of Manning, besides other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 4, 1929, with Rev.
A.L. Howland officiating. Interment was made in the Iowa Township Cemetery.
