ORVILLE STOELK
Orville Stoelk, 56, died this morning, September 15, 1978, at St. Olaf Hospital.
He was a Hormel Co. employee and resided at 2010 2nd Ave. SE.
Surviving are his wife, Donna; a daughter, Sharon, at home; his mother, Gustie Stoelk, Austin; three sisters, Mrs. Loyd (Ester) Borkowski, Mrs. Herbert (Inez) Mahnke, Manning, Iowa, and Mrs. Duane (Dorothy) Hillson, Blooming Prairie; two brothers, Lyle Stoelk, Waltham, and Charles Stoelk, Hayfield.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Worlein Funeral Home.
Son of Charles and Auguste (Paape) Stoelk, he was born December 6, 1921. He had three sisters and two brothers: Ester Borkowski, Dorothy Hillson, Inez Mahnke, Lyle, and Charles.

Funeral services for Orville Stoelk, 2010 2nd Ave. SE, will be held at 1:30
p.m. Monday at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Waltham, Rev. David Olson
officiating. Interment will be in St. Michal's Church Cemetery. Friends may call
at the Worlein Funeral Home from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to
9 p.m. Sunday, from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday.

Based on Orville's sister, Inez's obit, this Stoelk family moved to Waltham, Minnesota, sometime after all of the children were born southeast of Manning in Audubon County, Iowa; they attended Lincoln No. 3 country school.
