Ora Ann White

Ora A. (Stocker) White, 85, of 2218 Elks Avenue, died Thursday morning, June 26, 1969, in a Boise nursing home after an extended illness.

She was born on February 3, 1884, in Manning, Iowa. Mrs. White spent her early years and received her education in Iowa. She moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming, in 1921 and to Seattle in 1929. She was married to Walter Garfield White in 1949, in Cottage Grove, Oregon. For many years she lived in and near Cottage Grove until coming to Boise, Idaho, about five years ago.

Survivors in addition to her husband include two sons, Marvin Brenner, Cheyenne, Wyoming; Clarence Brenner, Seattle, Washington; three daughters, Mrs. Esther Porter and Mrs. Bertha Porter, both of Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Dorothy Talcott, Sheridan, Wyoming; a sister, Mrs. Mable Goodman, Cheyenne, Wyoming; a brother, Elmer Stocker, Colorado; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at McBratney-Alden-Waggoner Chapel by Pastor Franklin S. Fowler of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Interment will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery, Boise, Idaho.
