Nicholas Charles Riesselman, two-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Riesselman, Jr., born March 10, 1952, died of cancer at the family home about 6:20 p.m., Sunday, May 16, 1954. The family lives on a farm four miles east and one and three-quarter miles south of Manning.
The small boy had been ill for several months, his condition becoming acute six weeks ago. He became seriously ill Saturday night.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at SS. Peter & Paul's Church, Carroll, with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Frank H. Greteman, officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carroll. Pallbearers will be Lyle Fangman, Jeffrey Sailer, Joel Sailer, and Gary Handlos, cousins of Nicholas.
The body is at Ohde Funeral Home in Manning.
Besides his parents, Nicholas leaves a sister, JoAnn, five and one-half years old, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Riesselman, Carroll, and Mr. and Mrs. Nick Beyer, Coon Rapids. His mother is the former Catherine Beyer of Carroll.
