Mrs. Henry Van Dyke of Manning Dies; Was Ill For Some Time Mrs. Henry Van Dyke, 69, died during the night Saturday, March 31, 1945, at her home after being in ill health for some time. Nellie Edith, daughter of Benjamin and Phebie Billings, was born June 3, 1875, at Spring Creek, Minnesota.

Survivors include her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Phoebe Allen, and a granddaughter.

A sibling, Birdie A. Billings preceded her in death on May 16, 1939.

Benjamin served with the 3rd Independent Battery, Wisconsin Light Artillery, attaining the rank of Corporal during the Civil War.

Ben and Phebie are buried in Greenwood Cemetery Brookings, South Dakota.
