Neill Mullen, age 81, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2012, in Bellingham. He was born June 6, 1931, in Bellingham, Washington, to Gordon and Ella Mullen. Neill served in the U.S. Army, was an educator in Europe for the D.O.D, a teacher in the Meridian School District, an Assistant Professor of Education at WWU and a U.S. Customs Agent.
He was an active member and past President of the Whatcom County Historical Society and life-long member of the First Baptist Church. Neill enjoyed gardening and researching family genealogy.
He was preceded in death by his sister Annette Vernon. He is survived by his loving wife Ardella (Frahm) Mullen, sons; Peter (Stacia), Michael (Kristin) and Jeff (Amy), grandchildren; Wyatt, Joshua, and Jacob, brother John (Kit) and many loving relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, 110 Flora Street in Bellingham at 2 pm on Wednesday, August 15th.
