Following the committal services all friends and relatives are invited to return to the Zion Lutheran Church, Manning, for luncheon and fellowship.


MRS. MINNIE VETTER
Mrs. Minnie Vetter, 89, of Manning, died at the Manning General Hospital Monday evening. She had entered the hospital Monday.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Manning Pastor Edward F. Heinicke officiating. Burial will be in the Arcadia, Iowa, Cemetery under the direction of the Ohde Funeral Home, Manning.

Friends may call at the Ohde Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Albert Vetter, Walter Vetter, Merle Vetter, Walter Thies, Walter Noelck, and Vernon Noelck.

Mrs. Vetter, daughter of Joachim and Maria (Mattes) Noelck, was born on July 19, 1887, in Germany. At the age of three she came to the Arcadia community with her parents. She attended rural school near her home. Her marriage to August Vetter took place on February 22, 1905. They farmed near Halbur.

Her husband died on April 3, 1931. Mrs. Vetter and her family moved to Manning in 1942. She was a charter member of the Ladies Aid of the Zion Lutheran Church, Arcadia and a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Manning.

Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Henry (Esther) Peters of Manning, Frank Vetter, Paul Vetter, and Martha Vetter all at home; Louis Vetter of Sherman Oaks, California; Mrs. Francis (Alice) Young of Westside; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Hermann, Eventide Home, Denison.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, five sisters, one son in infancy, and one grandchild.
