Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Rudnick, 84, were held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church at Lowden, with the Rev. T.J. Eickelberg officiating. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery at Lowden. Charles Schmidt, Ed Schloemer, Paul Mensing, Henry Kroemer, Paul Klipp, and Walter Klipp were pallbearers.
Mrs. Rudnick died at 11:30 p.m. Monday, July 15, 1957, in St. Luke's Hospital at Davenport, after an illness of several months.
Minnie Kroeger was born February 20, 1873, near Lowden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kroeger. She attended rural school and Trinity Day School in Lowden.
On February 20, 1895, she married Albert Rudnick and they moved to Gray, Iowa, where they farmed for 82 years, she moved back to Lowden last fall.
Mrs. Rudnick is survived by a step-daughter, Mrs. Hattie Raebel, Manning; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Dora Schloemer, Lowden. She was preceded in death by her husband and two stepdaughters.
Manning relatives attending the rites were Mr. and Mrs. William Ahrendsen and Glen, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Polzin, Mrs. Hattie Raebel, Mrs. Donald Beck and Carol and Harold Beck.
