Minerva (Kettler) Wilson, 74, of Newport News, Virginia, died Sunday, January 18, 1987, at Riverside Hospital in Newport News. She was a former Manning resident.

Services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church at Newport News.

The Revs. Thomas Bosserman and A.G. Austin officiated.

Graveside services will be held in Manning on Thursday, January 22, at 10:30 am. at the Manning City Cemetery. The Rev. Jack Dahl of the Zion Lutheran Church in Arcadia will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday after 9 a.m. at Ohde Funeral Home in Manning.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She was the daughter of Edward and Clara (Joens) Kettler. She was born March 9, 1912. She was married to Harold Wilson and was a music teacher.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Newport News and a member of the church guild.
