MRS. MILDRED SPENCER Services for Mrs. Emma Mildred Spencer, 84, of Sacramento, California, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Ohde Funeral Home here. The Rev. Carl G. Sinning will officiate and burial will be in the Manning Cemetery with her first husband, under the name of Mildred Curtis. Larry Rix will be soloist and Bonita (Mrs. H.W.) Hagedorn, organist.

Mrs. Spencer died at Sacramento December 1, 1965.

Born to Perry and Frances Jane (Slawson) Moses, on October 31, 1843, she lived in Manning for many years. She was married first to Allen Leslie Curtis, a Manning barber who died in 1938. In 1942, she married Donald Spencer and they lived at Escondido, California. Since his death in 1955, she had lived at Sacramento with a daughter.

Survivors include five children: Dean Curtis, Norfolk, Virginia; Mrs. Reba Conyers, Sacramento, California; Max Curtis, San Diego, California; Paul Curtis, San Mateo, California; and Merle Curtis, Montreal, Canada.

Also preceding her in death was a son, Arthur William Curtis, of Manning on December 8, 1961.
