MERLE MUSFELDT Merle Musfeldt, 57, of Lake City, died Monday, October 12, 2009, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2009, at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City. Jim Miller will officiate.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City.

A son of Melvin and Melba (Lehwald) Musfeldt, he was born July 30, 1952, at Manning.

On February 22, 1974, he married Sharon Hummel at Maryville, Missouri. He worked as a mechanic for 24 years with Ford Motor Company in Carroll and Tempe, Arizona.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Musfeldt of Lake City; his mother, Melba Musfeldt of Phoenix, Arizona; sisters: Marlys Hughes and husband Gary of Hastings, Minnesota, and Marilyn Reikofski of Arizona; and a brother, Myron Musfeldt and wife Leslie of Arizona.

Mr. Musfeldt was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Musfeldt.
