Mechelle Lynne Riggs, infant daughter of David and Edith (Mitchell) Riggs, died shortly after birth Tuesday morning, August 15, 1972, at General Hospital in Manning, Iowa.

She is survived by her parents of Manning, one sister, Melissa and one brother, Davey; grandparents, Mrs. Berniece Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Riggs, all of Chariton; and great-grandparents, Frank Bay, of Humeston and Mrs. Etta Medearis, of Williamson.

Funeral services are tentatively set for 3 p.m., Friday, August 18, at the Fielding Funeral Home with burial in the Chariton Cemetery.
