Mr. and Mrs. Henry Otto received word Friday evening from the Leonard Stuhr family in Turner, Oregon, of the death of Mr. Stuhr's mother, Mrs. Mary Agnes (Kusel) Stuhr, 79. Mrs. Stuhr died in the yard of her home following a heart attack on November 8, 1968. She lived in Salem, Oregon.

Mrs. Stuhr and her husband, the late John Stuhr, lived in Manning, Gray, and Botna areas years ago. She has returned to Iowa for visits with relatives a number of times.

Funeral rites were held on November 11 at Salem, Oregon. She is survived by two daughters, four sons, grandchildren, and several brothers and sisters.

Born December 11, 1888, she was the daughter of August A. and Nellie Ellen (Concannon) Kusel.

She had ten siblings: Ida Green, John Kusel, Herman Kusel, Dorabell Stuhr, August G. Kusel, Lou Kusel, Della Jensen, Dessa Jensen, Ellenene Lengele, and Vernon Kusel.
