Death Comes to Mrs. Roenfeldt at Manning Home
Mrs. Mary Roenfeldt, 80, died at 1:30 yesterday morning, July 31, 1944, at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. August and Elsie Bornhoft, after an illness extending back to March. She was 80 years old.

Funeral services are to be at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Ohde funeral home with the Rev. E.E. Zimmerman of Carroll officiating. Pallbearers will be Earl Stribe, Harry Musfeldt, John E. Hansen, Will Ruge, Merlene Sievers, and Lyle Sievers.

Mrs. Roenfeldt's only surviving child is Mrs. Bornhoft (Elsa). Another daughter died in infancy. Her husband passed away in February 1943.

Other survivors include a niece, Mrs. Fred Musfeldt of Manning, and a nephew, William Ruge of Omaha.

Mary Roenfeldt, daughter of Max and Sarah Ruge, was born in Germany July 28, 1864, had lived in Ohio and eastern Iowa before coming to Manning. She was married north of Manning and had lived in this community since that time. She and her husband celebrated their golden wedding anniversary December 31, 1941.
