MRS. HENRY RADDEN
Funeral services for Mrs. Henry (Mary M.) Radden, 68, of Irwin, who passed away Monday night, March 16, 1960, after an illness of three years, will be held in the Irwin Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Friday, March 18, with the Rev. Harold Schirm officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Irwin.

The body is at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning where friends may call until Friday afternoon.

Daughter of the late Claus Heesch and Anna (Starfield) Heesch, Mrs. Radden was born April 24, 1891, at Marshalltown, later moving with her parents to a farm near Mapleton and from there to Garretson, South Dakota.

She was married to Henry John Radden at Sioux Falls, South Dakota, January 26, 1916.

Mr. Radden was a Chicago and North Western station agent in Halbur for seven years, transferring in 1922 from Halbur to Irwin where he was station agent until he retired a few years ago.

Surviving, besides her husband, and two daughters, Mrs. Adrian (Ruby) Desbien of Scott City, Kansas; and Mrs. John (Helen) Van Asselt of Irwin; two sons, Pershing H. of Shenandoah; and Marvin H. of Des Moines; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Carl Julius and Henry Heesch of Garretson, South Dakota.

Mrs. Radden was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers.
