MRS. ORIN E. (MARY) PRATT
Mrs. Orin E. (Mary) Pratt, 86, of Manning, died early Saturday, August 25, 1979, at the Manning General Hospital. She had been an invalid for the past two years.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Joel Wright, pastor, and Carl Sinning officiating. Soloist will be Mrs. Judy Joens, organist Mrs. Odessa Wycoff and pallbearers: Donn and Dick Callen, Dan Pratt, Earl Blohm, Steven Turnbull, and Robert Caton, Jr. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning Monday afternoon.

Mrs. Pratt is survived by her husband, two sons: Raymond, Manning, and John, Eden Prairie, Minnesota; a daughter, Mrs. Edgar (Jane) Callen, Sitka, Alaska; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs. James (Mildred) Shanks, Port Hueneme, California, and Miss Helen Dvorak, Berwyn, Illinois, and a brother, Irving Dvorak, Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

She was preceded by her parents and three brothers.

Mrs. Pratt was born November 20, 1892, in Chicago, a daughter of John and Marie (Bojak) Dvorak. She attended schools in Chicago and was employed by a Chicago department store. She was married to Orin E. Pratt July 19, 1913, at Bloomington, Illinois. They lived in Chicago until 1920 when they moved to a farm near Whiting, Iowa. In 1940, they moved to Manning where Mr. Pratt operated a Coast to Coast store for many years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and church ladies' organizations.
