Mrs. Mary Mohr died at her home in Crawford County Tuesday October 14 after a long illness. She leaves a husband, Frederick Mohr, who is 72 years old, and six children to mourn the death. Of the children there is one daughter, who is the wife of Fred Ronnfeldt, living at Manilla, and five sons Otto, Peter, Chris, John, and George, all of whom are respected citizens of this vicinity.

Mrs. Mohr was born at Schleswig, Germany, July 22, 1838, and was married there to Frederick Mohr in 1859. She, with her family came to America in 1872, settling in Clinton County, this state. They lived there for twenty years and moved to Crawford County where they have since resided. An immense crowd of sorrowing friends paid their last tribute to the deceased by following the remains to their resting place in the Iowa Township Cemetery. Rev. Martens preached the funeral sermon.
