Marvin Herman John Mordhorst, 75, of Cheyenne died November 26 in Cheyenne. Services were held on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Cheyenne, Wyoming. Reverend David Caspersen officiated the service with interment held in the Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.

Marvin was born January 8, 1929, in Manning, Iowa. He lived here until 1947. He served in the Navy Reserves from 1948 to 1949. He was united in marriage to Zelda on June 10, 1949. He was a plumber and founded Marv's Plumbing and Heating in 1969.

He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Joint Apprenticeship Committee and Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 192.

Marvin and his wife traveled in the winters for fifteen years in their RV. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and being out-doors.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by a son, Terry M. Mordhorst; his parents, Edward and Adele Mordhorst; and three brothers, Leslie, Karl, and Glen.

He is survived by his wife, Zelda, of Cheyenne; two sons: Randy Glen Mordhorst and Robert D. Mordhorst, both of Cheyenne; a daughter, Diana L. Walter of Cheyenne; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
