At Rest.
Martha Jane Wilson, wife of J.W. Wilson, departed from this life on the 7th day of March 1887. She was stricken down in the prime of life, her age being 35 years, two months and 17 days. She was born in Green County, Ohio, and in 1870, was converted to God, and united with the Friends church. In the year 1880 she moved with her husband to Iowa after which she became identified with the United Brethern Church, in which she lead a devoted Christian life to the last. She leaves a husband and an adopted son to mourn the loss of a loving wife, and affectionate mother. They have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.

The funeral took place on Tuesday, and was conducted by Elder J.F. Sharp. He chose the following words to speak from on this occasion: "Let me die the death of the righteous." The funeral was largely attended. She has gone to try the untried realities of another world.
