Russell, Robert, Franklin, and Ronald Mohr, Errol Wegner, and LeRoy Joens, her grandsons, were pallbearers.
Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Heinrich Nuppnau, she was born June 20, 1880, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, and came to the U.S. with her parents while a baby.
The family first lived in Valparaiso, Indiana, then came to Manning when Mrs. Mundt was a young girl.
On January 26, 1878, she married Chris Detlef Mohr and the couple farmed until 1929 when they moved to Manning. Mr. Mohr died in 1943.
In 1952, she married Gus Mundt, who passed away in 1953.
Mrs. Mundt continued to live in Manning until two and one-half months ago when she was taken to St. Anthony Hospital; then to the Tryon Nursing Home in Carroll, where she died on the evening of December 25, 1958.
She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Verna Wegner, Mrs. Elsie Stein, Mrs. Fred (Marcella) Asmus, Manning; Mrs. Herman (Leona) Asmus, Elkhorn, Nebraska: Chris, Council Bluffs; George and John, Manning; and Kenneth of Minneapolis.
Mrs. Mundt also adopted and reared a granddaughter, Donna Fae (Mohr) Bogatzke of Manning. There are 25 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands,
a son, Emil; a brother, a step-sister and it step-brother.
