MARGERETHA STUHR Margeretha Johanna Stuhr, 78, of Glidden died Sunday morning, November 5, 1978, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital where she had been a patient since October 30.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church in Glidden with Rev. Paul Bussert officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Glidden.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home Monday evening at 7 p.m. The casket will be moved to the church at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday to lie in state until time of the services.

Mrs. Stuhr, the daughter of Omar Karl and Bertha (Wentzel) Janssen, was born April 11, 1900, at Carroll. She married Herman Gus Bernhard Stuhr June 26, 1918, at Carroll. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Glidden.

Survivors include her husband, Herman; two sons, Amos of Glidden and Alvy of Massena, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Ben (Helen) Boeckman of Breda; two brothers, Carl Janssen of Lake City and Albert Janssen of Coon Rapids; one step-brother, John Trapp of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Stuhr of Eugene, Oregon; and Mrs. Emma Whitaker of Glidden; one step-half-sister, Mrs. Juergen (Martha) Luetje of Westside; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Alta Brus, three brothers, two sisters, one step-brother and one half-sister.
