Margaret "Moogie" Reinart

Margaret "Moogie" Reinart, 78, of Carroll died Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at St. Anthony Nursing Home in Carroll.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 6, 2019, at St. John Paul II Parish - St. Lawrence Church in Carroll. The Celebrant will be Fr. Shinoj Jose. Music will be by Kate Cuddy and the St. Lawrence Choir. Lector for the funeral mass will be Lisa Smith. Gift Bearers will be: Donna Hartl, Carol Reinart, and Mary Petersen. Eucharistic Minister will be Betty Reinart. Casket Bearers will be: Mark Tigges, Steve Reinart, Keith Hartl, Jeff Reinart, John Reinart, Tony Tigges, Mike Tigges, and Matt Tigges. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carroll.

Friends may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll after 5 p.m. on Thursday where there will be a rosary at 6:30 p.m. The casket will be moved to St. Lawrence Church on Friday morning where additional visitation will be held from 9:30-10:15 a.m.

Born on June 8, 1941, in Manning, Iowa, Margaret was the daughter of Clarence and Dorothy (Dufner) Reinart. She spent a brief time in the Halbur area and later moved with her family to Carroll where she attended Sts. Peter and Paul School and later graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School. Following her schooling, Margaret was employed at Lee's Dime Store in Carroll. She then worked in the kitchen at St. Anthony Hospital before becoming at CNA at the hospital. Moogie was also employed with Carroll Area Childcare Center in the infant room. She enjoyed babysitting her nieces and nephews over the years and socializing with her family and friends. Margaret was a member of St. John Paul II Parish - St. Lawrence Church in Carroll.

Survivors include her son Brian Reinart; her siblings: Mary Lou Hartl of Carroll, Merlin Reinart and his wife Betty of Carroll, and Marlene Tigges and her husband Donald R. of Carroll; as well as her nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Dorothy Reinart; and her niece, Renee Reinart.

Note: Clarence was a brother to Cletta Hoffman.
