Obituary.
Died, at Colorado Springs, Colorado, on June 8th, 1884, Mrs. Margaret Melissa McCranner, aged 19 years, 7 months and 21 days. The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.R.B. Smith of Denison Township. She was born in Ontario, Canada, October 18, 1864, and moved with her parents to Iowa in 1875. She was married to Mr. Theodore McCranner of Manning, Iowa, on November 3, 1881. She and her husband were at Colorado Spring, on account of her health. Besides many loving friends she leaves a little girl eighteen months old. Her remains were brought home on Monday and the funeral services were held at her parent's home on Tuesday, June 10th, conducted by Rev. D. Austin. She was buried in the Denison cemetery. She was a loving wife and mother and her death is a great source of grief to her husband, parents, and relatives
