Friends and relatives are invited to lunch at the Presbyterian Church following the committal services.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning. The Rev. Joel Wright, minister of the Presbyterian Church, officiated. Mrs. Judy Joens was vocal soloist and Mrs. Bonita Hagedorn, organist.
Pallbearers were Herb Hass, Eddie Fischer, Wesley Nulle, Ernest Ehlers, Robert Kruse, and Marvin Pfannkuch.
Burial was in the Manning Cemetery.
Mrs. Steen, the former Malinda Nulle, was born in Crawford County October 31, 1899, a daughter of William and Anna (Hass) Nulle.
She attended rural school near her home. Her marriage to Mr. Steen took place January 28, 1920, and they farmed southwest of Manning until retiring and moving into Manning 30 years ago. She was a member of the Busy Thimbles of the Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Steen is survived by her husband; a brother, Alfred Nulle of Manning; nieces, nephews, and cousins including Glenn Hass of Washington State.
