Mrs. Malinda McCallum, 1438 42nd St., Rock Island, Illinois, died Saturday, December 8, 1973, at her home.

The body was taken to Hodgson Funeral Home.

Malinda was born in Manning, Iowa, to Hans and Augusta (Stein) Derner.

She married Mac McCallum in Rock Island. He died in 1959.

Mrs. McCallum is survived by sisters, Mrs. Hazel Mooney, Rock Island, and Mrs. Jeanette Pacholke, Harwood, North Dakota.

The body is at the Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island.

Graveside services will be at 1 tomorrow afternoon in Manning Cemetery, Manning, Iowa. There will be no visitation.

The former Malinda Derner was born in Manning, a daughter of Hans and Augusta (Stein) Derner. She attended Manning schools and had resided in Rock Island 35 years.

She was married to Herbert McCallum in Rock Island. He died in 1959.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Mooney of Rock Island and Mrs. Jeanette Pacholke of Harwood, North Dakota.

She also was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
