MRS. DAVID SUMMERVILLE

Mrs. David Summerville, 72, passed away at her home in Madison, Wis., Monday afternoon. The body will be brought to the Ohde Funeral home in Manning Thursday morning and services will be held there Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. Arthur Raeside of the Presbyterian church conducting the services.

Mrs. Summerville was born Lulu Patton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. U. L. Patton of Manning, both deceased. She grew to womanhood here and is a graduate of the Manning schools. Mr. Summerville, who survives, is a state highway commissioner.

She leaves a niece, Mrs. Alice. C., Warnke, Carroll, and Dr. E. C. Patton of Iowa City, also a brother-in-law, Wm. Summerville, Manning, four sisters-in-law, Mrs. Dwight Patton, Carroll; Mrs. George Carsten, Omaha, Mrs. Laura Nellis and Mrs. Robert Summerville.

Mrs. Summerville is the last of her family, having been preceded in death by a brother, Dwight Patton of Manning, two sisters, Mrs. Will Carpenter, Manning, and Mrs. H. W. Reed, Chicago.


Lulu Summerville is buried in the Manning City Cemetery.
