LUELLA MUSFELDT
Luella Musfeldt, 73, of Aspinwall, Iowa, died Wednesday, October 28, 1992, at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 31, at Zion Lutheran Church in Manning with Pastor Robert Riggert officiating.

Burial will be at Manning City Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Ohde Funeral Home in Manning.

Mrs. Musfeldt was born November 2, 1918, in Otter Creek Township, Crawford County, Iowa, a daughter of William and Ida (Pithan) Schultz. She attended Otter Creek Township Elementary School. From 1930-34, she attended Denison Lutheran School, and graduated from Denison High School in 1937.

On September 14, 1940, she was married to Carl "Kelly" Musfeldt. The couple spent their entire married life in the Aspinwall and Manning areas. Mr. Musfeldt died in 1984. Mrs. Musfeldt continued to make her home in Aspinwall.

She was active in Zion Lutheran Church in Manning, Al-Anon, and the Manning VFW Auxiliary.

She was an avid traveler, having taken trips to China, Hawaii, Germany, Alaska, and numerous other parts of the world.

She is survived by her children: Diane Little and her husband, Bennie, of Bonifay, Florida, Pat Branning and her husband, Fred, Jr., of Carroll, Iowa; Kathy Huston and her husband, Donald, of San Diego, California; Carla Darby and her friend, Carl, of Washington, D.C.; and Keith Musfeldt and his wife, Linda, of Winter Haven, Florida; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and two sisters, Irene Genzen and her husband, Ivan, of Manilla, and Norma Olry and her husband, Jim, of Richmond, California.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Michael.
