Mrs. Elmer Schelldorf, 59, of Council Bluffs, formerly of Manning, died Monday, March 20, 1978, at an Omaha hospital after a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Edward F. Heinicke officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery under the direction of the Huebner Funeral Home of Denison.

Mrs. Schelldorf, the former Lucy Fischer, was born November 19, 1918, to Henry and Anna (Jensen) Fischer in Manning, and married Mr. Schelldorf on April 16, 1942, in Omaha. The couple lived in Manning until 1951 when they moved to Council Bluffs.

Survivors include the widower; a son, Art of Council Bluffs, and two brothers, Eddie and George Fischer, both of Manning.
