LOUISE M. ZUBROD
Louise M. Zubrod, 88, of Manning, died late Tuesday night, June 22, 1993, at Manning General Hospital following a brief illness.

Mass of the Christian burial for Mrs. Zubrod will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 25, 1993, at Sacred Heart Church in Manning with the Rev. Ralph Reinhart as celebrant.

Casket bearers will be Randy Zubrod, Mike Zubrod, Matt Zubrod, Nick Rupiper, Dan Fox, and Scott Feldmann. Lector for the Mass will be Craig Zubrod.

Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Manning.

Friends called this afternoon at Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, reciting a rosary at 3 p.m. There will be a prayer service and rosary at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

She was born June 10, 1905, at Roselle, a daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Walterchied) Bellinghausen, and attended school in Roselle.

She and Louis Zubrod were married Jan. 4, 1926, at Roselle. The couple farmed In Carroll County until their retirement in 1969 when they moved into Manning. Her husband died in 1986.

Mrs. Zubrod was a member of Sacred Heart Parish and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

Survivors include three daughters, Thelma Fox and her husband, Jerry, of Audubon, Doris Feldmann and her husband, Allen, of Boone and Carol Rupiper and her husband, Gene, of Fountain Hills, Arizona; three sons, Merlyn Zubrod and his wife, Pat, of Templeton, Don Zubrod and his wife, Joyce, of Manning, and Ken Zubrod and his wife, Donna, of Fountain Hills, Arizona; 27 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a sister-in-law, Mary Bellinghausen, of Carroll.

Mrs. Zubrod was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four sisters, four brothers and a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Zubrod.
