MRS. LOUISE SINN
Mrs. Louise Marie Sinn, 76, died Wednesday evening, January 16, 1963, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.S. Erwin, in Manning. She had been ill for about two years.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church here, with Pastor George B. Eschenbacher officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning after 7 p.m. Thursday, until 12:30 p.m. Friday, at which time the body will be taken to the church.

Mrs. Sinn was born June 10, 1885, in Sioux City, a daughter of William and Elizabeth (Kroeger) Widmann. She attended Lutheran Parochial Schools at Sioux City, and was employed as a milliner at Lewis, Iowa.

She came to Manning as a milliner in 1902. In 1904, she married Dr. Jens J. Sinn, a dentist, and they made their home here. Dr. Sinn died in 1955. Mrs. Sinn continued to live in her own home until 2 1/2 years ago, when she went to Davenport and spent a year with a daughter.

For the past year and a half she made her home here with Mrs. Erwin. She had been an active member of many organizations in the Lutheran Church as well as local civic organizations.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Sinn was preceded in death by two daughters, Hildegard and Alma, and her parents.

Surviving are five children: Mrs. Allen M. (Elizabeth) MacLaughlin, Davenport; Carl W. Sinn, Midwest City, Oklahoma; Mrs. Erwin (Lucille), Manning; Mrs. P.L. (Arlene) Norman, Eau Claire, Wisconsin; and Amos J. Sinn, Schleswig; also 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; one brother, the Rev. Elmer Widmann, Ventura; and two nieces whom she reared, Mrs. Ray (Wilma) Hohenstein, Baltimore, Maryland, and Mrs. Don (Eleanor) Hay, Washington, D.C.
