Memorial service for Louise Pfoltner will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 15, at Ohde Funeral Home in Manning.
Mrs. Pfoltner, 95, died Saturday, July 8, 1989, at the Lakeview Nursing Home in Lenexa, Kansas.
Pastor Robert Riggert of Zion Lutheran Church in Manning will officiate the services. Organist will be Fern Jensen.
Interment of the ashes will be at Manning City Cemetery.
Born January 3, 1894, at Maquoketa, Mrs. Pfoltner was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman and Maria (Hansen) Henningsen.
The family moved to the Manning area when Louise was a youth. She was married to Herman Pfoltner on November 26, 1913. They farmed near Manning and moved to Manning in 1954. She then began operating the Pfoltner Nursing Home. After Mr. Pfoltner died on October 13, 1964, Mrs. Pfoltner moved to Kansas City to be near her son, Louis.
Mrs. Pfoltner is survived by her son, Louis Pfoltner and his wife, Dolores, of Prairie Village, Kansas; her daughter, Bernice Borkowski of Churdan, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Dewey; and her brothers and sisters.
