Services Friday For Louie Oeser
Funeral services for Louie Oeser, 67, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Manning Lutheran Church with Pastor John. M. Ansorge officiating. Place of burial has not been determined (Hayes Township Cemetery, Crawford County).

Mr. Oeser was found dead in his hotel room here by Mrs. Arthur Lerssen, operator of the hotel, yesterday, February 6, 1952. He was born in1884.

Dr. J. Lawrence Cochran, Carrell County Coroner reported that Mr. Oeser apparently died in his sleep as a result of a heart condition.

Pallbearers for the funeral, all nephews, will be Leonard Frahm and Marcellus Grundmeier, Manning; Ralph Hennings, Council Bluffs; and LeRoy Koch, John Oeser, III, and Alvin Oeser, all of Westside.

Mr. Oeser, a bachelor, farmed near Westside and Carroll before moving to Manning about 10 years ago.

Four sisters and two brothers survive: Mrs. Jerry Eckholdt and Mrs. George Frahm, of Manning; Mrs. Ralph Muse, Davenport, and Mrs. Gustav Gust, Vinton; John Oeser, II, Westside; and Herman Oeser, Oakland, California.
