LINN CARL ULLERICH

Linn Carl Ullrich, 76, of Manning, died unexpectedly Sunday, December 19, 1982, at his home in Manning. He had farmed in Lincoln Township in Audubon County for many years.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 22, in the Lincoln Township Lutheran church in Audubon County with the Rev, C. Thomas Scher officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning.

Mr. Ullerich is survived by his wife, Selma; the following children: Philip Ullerich and his wife Lynne, Omaha; Dean Ullerich and his wife Constance, Omaha; Mrs. Lyle (Marie) Kucera, Atlantic; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers: Herbert, Manning, and Hugo, Paducah, Kentucky; and a sister Mrs. Frank (Rose) Kauth, Birmingham, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Clara Ullerich; four brothers: Julius at age 4, Erwin, Victor, and Walter, and a daughter Mrs. Harold (Romanza) Vroman. Mr. Ullerich was born March 17, 1906, in Lincoln Township, Audubon County, a son of Herman and Nancy (Ketelsen) Ullerich. He attended public and Trinity Lutheran parochial schools. On September 24, 1933, he was married to Selma Witt at the Lincoln Township Lutheran Church. He and his wife left the farm in Lincoln Township in 1974 and moved to Manning.

He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church and was a lifelong member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
