Leslie William Henry Wiese, 84, died Friday, November 16, 1990, at the Manning Plaza.
Funeral services for Mr. Wiese will be a 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 1990, at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning with the Rev. Marshall Brown of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be at the Manning City Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Maurice A. Henkelman, Steven Wiese, Steven Adkins, Les Becke, Harold Reinke, and Dave Ewing.
Mr. Wiese was born July 30, 1906, in Hayes Township in Crawford County, the son of Detlef and Alma (Kruetzfeldt) Wiese. After attending country schools near his home, Mr. Wiese went into farming.
He and Lillie Klusman were married June 28, 1941, in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Mr. Wiese was employed by Dultmeier Manufacturing, MJM, Harold Reinke Salvage Yard, and Pacific Adhesives.
When his wife died in May 1970, Mr. Wiese remained at home until moving into the Carroll County Care Facility in 1986 and later the Manning Plaza in December 1988.
Survivors include a daughter, Anna Marie Henkelman, of Manilla; a son, Darrell Wiese, of Arcadia; brothers George Wiese of Charter Oak, Elmer Wiese of Vail, Alvin Wiese, Emil Wiese of Arcadia, Wilmer Wiese of Vail, Leonard Wiese of Omaha and Clarence Wiese of Nebraska; sisters Viola Dozark of Vail and Ila Crampton of Denison; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wiese was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Adelaide (Mrs. Hugo) Schrum and Vera Morton; brothers Donald Wiese and Raymond Wiese; a son-in-law, Donald Henkelman; and a granddaughter, Julie Wiese.
