Funeral Rites Held At Manning Monday For Leslie Stahl
Funeral services for Leslie Stahl, 18, were held at Sacred Heart Church in Manning at 10 o'clock Monday morning, with the Rev. Father Edward Vollmer of Le Mars and the Rev. Father J.A. Roder in charge.

Leslie passed away December 13, 1945. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers were John Keane, Frank Wegner, Charles Schumann, Wilbur Karsten, Ralph Petersen, and William Strathman.

Leslie Stahl was born in Ewoldt Township, August 31, 1927, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Labert Stahl, Sr. and Hazel Elizabeth (Foster) Stahl. He died at his home last Thursday after being in ill health for a number of years.

He is survived by his parents, two brothers, "Bud" Labert, Jr., and "Putt Putt" Kenneth of Manning, two sisters Shirley of Manning and Phyllis of California, also his grandmother, Mrs. Anna Hoover of Manning and a number of other relatives.

Leslie had been afflicted with muscular dystrophy since the age of eight years, but had been confined to bed only the last week.

He had been a patient at Iowa City at regular Intervals during the past nine years.
